Are you not aware of Youtube Red?

- patrickaljord 9y agoUS only.
- stevenwoo 9y agoThat seems like Youtube is leaving a lot of money on the table, though I don't understand the issues behind not offering outside the USA.
- detaro 9y agoNot strictly US only, but very limited availability, yes. There were some rumors it'd launch in parts of Europe this year, but that hasn't happened.
- w-ll 9y agoSpeaking of Youtube Red, the way they handle if you have multiple devices is just so amazingly bad. I pay for YouTube Red so that I can play music videos on my tv all day without ads. But if I go to a video on my desktop it will stop the playing of the video on the TV as only 1 session can be had with youtube at once IF YOU PAY FOR RED. If I dropped red, and just used ad blockers I will still be available to have multiple video sessions at once. Drives me up a while and im seriously considering dropping red.
- j_s 9y agoThis is good to know, an interesting contrast to YouTube TV advertising support for 6-ish account sharing out of the box. Maybe it'd be worth paying for a separate account for the TV.
