We live in a hyper-polarized time and belong to an industry and community (SV) that is both responsible for a lot of that polarization, and is busy trying to remake the world and the experience of the world as it sees fit. We're hardly selling car doors here. That being said, it seems a little rich to complain about the intrusion of politics into this genteel little salon we've got here.
