Yes, that's an excellent point. I linked to https://www.irs.gov/businesses/income-from-abroad-is-taxable https://www.irs.gov/businesses/income-from-abroad-is-taxable, but should have made the distinction clearer. Most of my comments address income that arrives at a business first.
