Odd, I'd never noticed any such discussions. Maybe the stories I read don't get those kinds of comments, but I'll be on the lookout - I don't like that kind of thing either. (I'm male)
- drewcrawford 16y agoI assumed the referent was to the "why aren't women in CS?" articles that crop up with some regularity. I would hesitate to necessarily call these sexist. The psychological aspect of that question might appeal to both male and female hackers, and I don't think the acknowledgment of a fact (i.e., the difference in enrolled CS students) is somehow sexist.
