Especially with the dev tools open, I had several sites that could reliably crash Firefox on an i7 which led me to finally switch to Chrome. Firefox rendering speed and dev tools penalty were pretty bad and I'll take any improvement I can get. I want to switch back, but for that rendering speed, quality of the development tools and sandboxing need to be at least on par with Chrome.
