This made me take it in a much more casual way, as they didn't load it with PR speak for sure. Gave much more credibility — like it wasn't written by lawyers.
- cup-of-tea 9y ago> like it wasn't written by lawyers Like it wasn't, but it was.
- aerovistae 9y agoI doubt it. It sounds a little too much like Elon.
- rusk 9y agoThat's good lawyers for you!
- squarefoot 9y agoIt probably was deeply scrutinized before publishing, just to be sure it doesn't contain six lines that could have Musk "hanged".
- kakarot 9y agoExcept the author mentioned Elon in the third person, and I don't think he would intentionally misdirect like that.
- dvfjsdhgfv 9y agoWhy? He could very well write it from the POV of the company, distancing himself - in this case using the third person is nothing unusual.
- kakarot 9y agoIt stands against all reason and intuition that this would be the case. There is no evidence to support the theory.
- laumars 9y agoAFAIK he doesn't usually talk about himself in 3rd person: > His email to Elon was about his commute and Tesla’s shuttles, > We would also like to clear up the description of Elon’s prior email to employees. > Elon’s full email is below:
- threeseed 9y agoMore likely a team of people including Lawyers, PR etc. Tesla hasn't been in a more vulnerable position for a few years now and so everything they do must be perfect.
