- jeroenhd 9y agoFYI: Firefox (and other browsers as well I think) already have built-in functionality for generating a cURL command with all the headers and cookies included. In the dev tools, you can right-click on a request in the "network" tab and click Copy > Copy as cURL. Sadly, this only works for requests you haven't already done with the dev tools open and it doesn't generate wget commands, but you might get some use out of this while the add-on is being updated.
- discreditable 9y agoThis is my workaround for now, but Copy as cURL doesn't preserve the output filename given by the server. Not to mention it's a bit of a pain in the butt.
- tmzt 9y agoAdding -O usually takes care of that. I'm using curl with -L -O over wget now. Are you missing having it in the context menu?
- discreditable 9y agoThe download prompt mostly. Although the context option was sometimes useful it wasn't very reliable. Sites often don't give you direct links to download files that the context menu would help with.
