No, price correlates with the number of "features" that a wisky has- brand prestige, single barrel, single-malt (not a blend, but possibly multiple barrels), aging time, etc. Taste is subjective, and I find that Hibiki Harmony is supremely drinkable- there's no need to optmize the experience like with an expensive scotch- just pour it and enjoy. It also helps that it doesn't hurt my wallet to share it, so I drink it with friends more.
