Whenever I've had dual booting, windows was always noticeably more sluggish and froze more than Linux. Maybe it's changed (haven't really used 10).
You might be right on graphics cards - it's not really my world.
- AnIdiotOnTheNet 9y agoYou probably haven't used it since pre-vista if that is your experience. Microsoft changed a lot of internals that really improved the situation on Windows. For instance: WDDM can recover from a graphics driver crash, with the added benefit of allowing you to install and use new graphics drivers without rebooting or even losing your open windows.
- HumanDrivenDev 9y agoMy laptop has win7 on it, and it crawls compared to my linux installation. It's a really unpleasant experience. I'm not sure why this is so surprising to you. People run debian raspberry pi.
