I don't think this is precience, though I often find many authors and artists to speak up for stuff repressed in our collective subconscious. This kind of stuff is becoming increasingly more difficult to bury, and it is the kind of stuff our civilization has never adequately addressed. I think it can be changed, but not if we keep trying to bury it.
