I'm very jealous of my friends with SF jobs who work remote and live with their parents. I know three who do this, they're all late 20s/early 30s. I totally would do it if I had the opportunity, I still get along great with my folks. I also know 1 person with a remote SF job in the midwest who lives like a king.
