I just wish now that the US government would kill the H1-B and all other immigrant visa and send us all home. I have spent 13 years here, I earn well over 200K, have a kid. But every 3 years, I have to renew my visa and pray and tell that there is no bullshit like RFE when visa is sent for renewal. And then the DMV drama begins as your DL expires, but your application is still not approved. When I came here, I had hope that the US government would make improvements to the immigrant system in good faith, considering all I heard from abroad was that this country is a "nation of immigrants". But it seems like the fancy thing to do these days is to blame every ill on immigrants.
