I found the blog post [1] by Dan Bernstein and Tanja Lange to be an interesting read, since it is written from the perspective of someone in the process of trying to reverse engineer the vulnerability, rather than the Nemec et al. [2] paper written from the perspective from someone who has already found the vulnerability.
