Recently used CSS Grids for layout control and Bootstrap v4 for element styling. Grids are insanely easy to use and do a really good job of separating content and presentation.
And I used flex boxes within grids to fine tune layout and it's really awesome and simple. Verbose, but simpler than using frameworks like BS, Semantic or Materialize for layouts.
