Mathematical language is the least ambiguous language you will find anywhere, other than executable code.
- perfmode 9y agoAnd the commenter chooses the executable code.
- mickronome 9y agoI'm not exactly clear on what you mean by "mathematical language" in this context as mathematical notation is clearly filled with ambiguity, so I have to assume it is something else you are getting at. Can you elaborate on that ?
- Myrmornis 9y agoI said least ambiguous, not free of ambiguity. I challenge you to name a community which strives for precise language more than professional mathematicians.
- weberc2 9y agoWhether or not it's worth it depends on how often you need to interact with it. I don't need to interact with math notation very often; maybe only a few times per year. Further, deciphering the math notation by referencing is translation is not a bad way to learn.
