- junkscience2017 9y agoSacramento has all of the disadvantages of living in California (high taxes, regulation, etc) but none of the advantages (great weather, scenery, awesome job market). You mention the weather... Sacramento's is awful. The heat is unbearable. You might as well just keep on 80 until you hit Reno.

- Mz 9y agoSacramento is nearly a half a million people. The article seems to be talking about cities that are roughly a tenth that size, with populations around 40k-60k. (I have checked a few of them, but not all of them.)
