Twitter probably wouldn't survive banning Trump. They're already losing users in the US. Trump switching to a different platform would instantly give the new platform millions of active users. A new competitor like that would make TWTR crash on the market.

Not so sure it would give them millions of active users. Tens of thousands maybe, and a lot of bots. It's funny to see how the Donald trump subreddit (who claim to have 6 million members), after sticking a link to a petition can only gather a couple of thousand votes. What makes you think millions of people will flood to Trumps soapbox?
