Sourcegraph is the best way to read and write code with your team. As a programmer, you spend hours every day trying to answer simple questions with outdated, single-player tools that force you to constantly context-switch away from your code. Sourcegraph brings discussion and review to your editor in a first-class way and makes all the code inside your organization easily searchable.
We're a small team founded by Stanford and Palantir alumni. Our users and customers span programmers across the world, influential open-source authors, and major companies. Our technical challenges include scaling code analysis and search to every codebase in the world.
Stack: Go, TypeScript, GraphQL, Docker + Kubernetes

- antibland 9y agoFrom Quinn Slack's bio: > At Palantir Technologies, he created a technology platform to help two of the top five U.S. banks recover from the housing crisis. Um, didn't the taxpayers bale-out the banks? Without our consent, I might add. Thanks for helping out the enemy and bragging about it, Quinn. Sourcegraph sounds great.

I'm pretty sure both of these things could be true Without our consent, I might add. I certainly thought it was a good idea. I also thought that some banking executives were criminals and should have gone to jail, but I think that avoiding the collapse of banks was a good thing. Thanks for helping out the enemy and bragging about it, Quinn. I had no idea who Quinn Slack was until this post, but: a) this seems a pretty personal attack b) characterizing "banks" as "the enemy" seems a little over dramatic. While I'm no fan of some of the actions of some banks some of the time, that doesn't make them intrinsically evil.
