If you follow the Bible to the letter you get Hasidic Jews or Catholics, if you follow the Quran to the letter you get radical islam.
- pjc50 9y agoBiblical literalism is a characteristic of some Protestant groups, not Catholicism; the treatment of the Apocrypha is relevant to this.
