Love the list! :) for the OP of this list, this idea "Crowdsourced Air-Traffic-Control" is a good idea if changed to traffic light control. One thing that REALLY bugs me is inefficient traffic lights because their timings are off. But the trick is not direct control of traffic lights, but track a consensus to change timings. Bonus, revolutionize traffic lights through vision and adaptive control to create best average trip times for everyone, adapts to accidents / blockage etc :)
