  So, how much it costs than? I'm genuinely interested because I've heard figures in the range of several cents up to $40.

      That $5 doesn't include the mining fees. With, it is closer to $40.

        https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ has some better information on fees ~$3.50, and that is the mining fee. All transaction fees are given to the block that they are first included in.
