- macspoofing 9y agoThey came close with the 360, and then took 5 steps back with the One.
- user5994461 9y agoMicrosoft is a hardware company. They've been shipping computers, keyboards, headsets and all sort of electronics for a while.
- Retric 9y agoXBox seems to be stuck at ~breakeven over the entire lifecycle. They have spent several billion on advertising, they generally sell the console for a direct loss, and it's PS2/3/4 have each sold significantly more each generation. So, IMO it's not hugely successful just not out an outright failure. That said, they have shipped a lot of hardware over time, and made some reasonable profit from mice / keyboards.
- burger_moon 9y agoKindle, Fire, and Echo products seem pretty successful. Same with Pixel and Home. Those come from software companies.
