Surgeons and dentists also have professional development baked into their work schedules, which software engineers should have -- say, hire someone for 35 hours per week so they can spend 5 hours per week on professional development.
- 0x445442 9y agoThe other difference is Surgeons, Plummers, Dentists and even Gardeners get payed for services rendered not time. This is a huge problem in the industry and is the source of massive waste.
