Actually China found that a "pure" 1984 state isn't sustainable, so they're using the BNW model to paste over the cracks.
- orblivion 16y agoI was thinking about this. If NK spread around the world, it would be curtains. 1984 would be realized, there would be no escape. However NK receives aid from the UN (that it denies). I'm guessing (hoping) it wouldn't be sustainable otherwise.
- tome 16y agoI'm guessing (hoping) it wouldn't be sustainable otherwise. I think that's a massive understatement. As I understand it half the population is starving.
