I'm sorry, but I don't really feel comfortable letting Amazon into my home. To be fair, I feel the same about UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.

- danielsamuels 9y agoThere's actually a super simple solution for your concerns - don't choose the "in-home delivery" option.
- chillingeffect 9y agoIn addition to letting them into your home, its outward-facing camera lets them into your neighborhood, setting the stage for feature-creep, facial recognition, immigrant surveillance, automobile surveillance, subpoena'd police access, poorly-managed data, etc. We tolerate this from a security company's cameras because that's their specific intention and the quality costs a monthly premium. From cutthroat retailers like Amazon, Walmart, etc., I have no expectation of ideal behavior.
