Not really, in old days we had telnet over TCP/IP. Now there is mosh which uses smart redraw and UDP.
- cpcallen 9y agoNot sure what your point is. Perhaps you are too young to have experienced only having access to the internet via a shared UNIX system which in turn was only accessible by serial terminal?
