If you google stem cells + <disease name> you can find <promising> research for almost any disease, can anyone explain in simple terms, what is so magical in stem cells therapy?
- nsomaru 9y agoMy layman's understanding is that stem cells have not yet 'differentiated' into a specialised cell type which makes them useful for many different types of treatments. Edit: so you can use them to create "healthy" versions of whatever you need.
