Tip: add a link somewhere on your blog to https://canny.io https://canny.io. I had to manually enter the URL in a new tab to look at your site. For some strange reason many blogs forget to include a link to the Real Thing.
- a13n 9y agoFixed! Thanks for the protip. :)
- iloveneptune 9y agolooks like Canny takes customer feedback to heart :)
- davidpelayo 9y agoit's the minimum a smart entrepreneur should do, I think
- Kiro 9y agoI think you missed the point.
- a13n 9y agoYou bet we do!
- hanley 9y agoThis drives me nuts. I don't understand why it's so commonly missed.
- osrec 9y agoLol yes. I've often seen the logo on a blog post link to the blog homepage rather than the product homepage. Sort of defeats the purpose of the blog post (which is presumably to drive traffic to the product)!
- marksomnian 9y agoOn the contrary, if I'm done reading a blog post and I want to read more from that blog, it infuriates me to no end when clicking the logo on the top sends me to a product landing page and I have to hunt around to find my way back to the blog.
- sumedh 9y agoThe click that goes to the product landing page is more valuable than the click that goes to the blog main page.
- tmnvix 9y agoI've noticed the same thing. It seems common enough that maybe there is a valid reason (rather than it simply being an oversight)?
- j_s 9y agoProbably just because it is the default when setting up the blog.
- justhackedme 9y agoWow that website sucks.
- DrScump 9y agoAlso, make sure that there is a clickable home page link easily visible in any email you send, whether promotional or merely informative. Even places like Amazon and eBay get this wrong in some contexts.
