  Suggestion for the dupe checker: Check with index.html removed and www. stripped. That would get rid of a lot of duplicates.

      Yes, that would help a lot too. But I would peg the chances of getting the dupe checker in HN fixed a bit higher than getting all the sites that might be submitted fixed.

    You can always delete the link if you find out that it has bee submitted recently after the fact.
