Why do we need to describe who and what the victim is when discussing sexual harassment? The whole part of the narrative where we describe the gender, appearance, fashion choices, how many hours of yoga you have done? Why are we focussing on that aspect at all?
- voltooid 9y agoTo add further: The difference between sexism and sexual harassment is that sexual harassment has nothing to do with the sex of the person doing the harassing or the person being harassed. As much social stigma there is for women to come out and talk about harassment, with toxic masculinity that most men suffer because of, it seems like an equally large if not larger problem. With women it is "she was asking for it" and with men it is "what a pussy" or something to that effect.
