Dropping the floppy also sucked. They were ubiquitous, and practically free. You could re-write them. Copying a file onto them was fast. Writing to a CD was slow. And cost about a buck. And didn't always work. So, yeah, there's pain with going to wireless headphones. But in 10 years, we're going to forget that.
