Buy a refurbished 6s or SE. I don't know how you use your phone, but I don't forsee my 6s becoming unusable in the next year or two for my use cases (WhatsApp, maps, taking photos, checking email). Granted iOS 11 (and High Sierra) have been notoriously buggy. :\
