I've seen it happen, including to me, not often but I would not describe it as rare. It often takes more the form of being aggressively suggestive rather than physical violence but it can still be inappropriate: indecent exposure is a crime in many places. When it’s physical violence, it’s a little confusing because the men were generally stronger and better coordinated (more sober) so it looked more like drunk-management than a threat.
