Given how well-known the term "space-time continuum" is, you'd think that most people would already know that to be the case.
- powrtoch 16y agoI think the "continuum" part of this term is not generally understood. I would expect most people think of the relation between space and time to be like the relation of X and Y on a planar graph: two distinct continuous dimensions, with no real way to convert between them.
