- topranks 9y agoYeah but please don't.... or at least don't create documentation or guides with the abbreviations.
- amyjess 9y agoTo be honest, I didn't even know "addr" was short for address. When I was first taught iproute2 in 2007, I was told that the command was "ip addr" (and I'm fairly sure the very first iproute2 command I ever typed was "ip addr show").
