Any informed commentary on the pros/ cons of this vs cluster?
As far as I can see, cluster workers are all uniform (no task-specific pools) and cluster has no broadcast (just `worker.send(message)`.)
- maxpert 9y agoCluster runs multiple processes, this is multi-threaded. So everything is isolated there, communication can happen only through IPC mechanisms, and high memory overhead. In case of threads its typical synchronization with of course shared memory side effects. It’s a typical thread vs process debate.
