You could try out Hackintosh/Linux but not sure how compatible would it be in the beginning. Issues will need to be tinkered with and fixed.

- dm319 9y agoYes, and there isn't a great history with getting surface's to work well with linux - though I think things are much better now. Still, probably much easier than getting linux on it than a macbook pro.
