Eh, only 6% less using mass transit if you read the ITS report:
• Ride-hailing attracts Americans away from bus services (a 6% reduction) and light rail services
(a 3% reduction)
Given that cities have had populations on the rise, this is actually good because it helps the overloaded transit systems in many places. Of course, perhaps it prevent more investment in them as well. They also noted more people may take commuter rail when they can leverage a Lyft to get from the station to their final destination.

- true_tuna 9y agoTrains and busses in my area are standing room only for six hours a day. taking some load off those systems so they can preserve what quality of service they have left is beneficial as far as I'm concerned. Using Lyft line when possible helps alleviate congestion too.
