In 25 years, I'm sure we'll be saying the same about our current lithium ion chemistries. You engineer with the technology you have, not the future technology you wish you had. ;)
- maxerickson 9y agoEven after some huge advance that rendered lithium-ion obsolete, I imagine I would still think of them as the line in the sand between batteries that worked okay and batteries that were pretty good. Not just for electric cars, things like cordless tools, lithium-ion versions are much nicer than anything that preceded them.
