- revmoo 9y agoA lot of those maps are outdated or purposely inaccurate due to local politics. Your best bet when buying a home is to look at actual topographical maps and understanding how water will flow through the actual geography.
- dawnerd 9y agoLast two homes I’ve purchased have had this info as part of the escrow/mortgage docs. I bet most people don’t bother to actually read that hide stack of paper they’re signing.
- toast0 9y agoMost of the stack (when I closed) was a mortgage contract which was marked up as a uniform contract, plus what must have been one page per year of the finances for each payment. I double checked some key terms, but mostly relied on it being a uniform contract. Everything else was short and readable, but there were a lot of them.
