Instead it is used to automate the deployment of those apps which actually run on a different database that's not CockroachDB? In that case what are the reasons behind using CockroachDB for deployment but not for the apps themselves? By the way what kind of performance can I get from CockroachDB? I know it's going to be slower than a Postgresql or MySQL running on replication. But how much slower?
