I would argue that having a single occurrence of a hack, isolated, seems unlikely. If a site got hacked, chances are they suck at security - and then subsequent hacks are actually more likely to happen over the near future. It takes time to turn corporate culture around, and security depends a lot on culture. Would be great to see some statistics that would either support or disprove my assertion.
