As a user of a piece of infrastructure, I shouldn't have to read Reddit every morning to figure out what's going on. Just like I don't need to follow closely ipv4 development, smtp development, etc.
I'm certain that I'm not the only user who is surprised that the hard fork is only 4 days away.
- DennisP 9y agoRunning a node is more like running an email server, rather than just using email. If you're running a server you should keep up with things. If, say, you use a hardware wallet and MyEtherWallet to issue your transactions, then you don't have any updates to make.
