I could certainly get rid of a few things. And I often feel that accepting gifts is somewhat of a burden. I enjoy owning things that I have even occasional use for, though. If I have a lot of things that I can't name a solid use for, then I feel bogged down. If there are a lot of things that I want to do that I don't have the equipment for, then I'm unhappy. It's less about the objects than what the objects let me do.
