I've always wondered why open phone hardware is universally terrible in terms of capability and performance.
- shmerl 9y agoBecause no one made good ones open? ARM based SoC manufacturers have historically abysmal record of opening anything up. It's a pity AMD and Intel didn't break into making good mobile CPUs and GPUs.
