I just froze my family's credit reports with all three credit reporting agencies ... I wonder whether that blocks employers from this info as well, I imagine it's a completely separate service though.

- bspn 9y agoWhich, as I discovered today, is a massive PITA. A letter arrived in the mail saying the freeze won't be effective until I mail them a copy of my photo ID.
- justgottasay3 9y agowant to get rich fast... start a new credit reporting agency that just does a 'sed' on one of the big three reports and feeds it to you as their report... put a big warning on the home page that folks should freeze their report from your CRA for just $5.00. Watch the money roll in. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
