Concerning "#1 dialog": if your application is doing sustained interaction with a user, fine. As a sysadmin, however, the very last thing I want is a GUI interaction when doing an install (installations seem to be the most common use of shell scripts). Please document command line flags like "--I-have-read-and-accept-the-license" and don't put roadblocks in front of automating the install. Wouldn't you prefer to sell the thousands of automated license uses I could spin up in the time I'd spend answering ten of your GUI license prompts?
