I don't know the answer to your questions, but I did read in Chris Hadfields book that it takes basically the same amount of time you are in space to recover afterwards on the ground. If you're up for 6 months, you'll need about 6 months recovery.

- bigiain 9y agoIt's entirely possible he's about as "totally OK" as a smoker who smoked for a decade and has now quit for a decade. I don't think we have _anything_ like enough long term data to even know what problems might start appearing in 20, 30, 40 years...
