You could use Kabylake('200 series') processors in 100 series (Skylake) motherboards with a BIOS update. Both 1151 socket. Shame this didn't continue.

- einrealist 9y agoIts because the power profile of the connectors are different. Its subtle, but it makes it incompatible.
