you can swap x230/t430 to the x220/t420 keyboard, for what it's worth.
sticking point to me on the X220/230 is that 1366x768 screen, but I believe the X230 can be upgraded to 1080p.
- zokier 9y agoI have an x240, which is okayish otherwise, but I'm quite annoyed that it is the model they decided to try dropping mouse buttons. x230 and x250 both have them, but of course x240 had to be the one I got.
- hadlock 9y agoThe X250 trackpad is a drop-in replacement, if you own your ThinkPad it's a $20 part reasonably quick to swap
